Subliminal = Comes from the two Latin words; Sub and Limen. Sub means under, and limen means threshold. Literally translated word for word it means "below threshold". We go in and out of trances all the time; reading, daydreaming, watching tv, etc all put us into different states of consciousness, and it can be intentional, or purely through the act of doing a certain activity.
Subliminal Learning = This is when actual physical learning occurs from using subliminal technology.
